Please avoid accessories that dangle. Tutus are fun, but are a distraction to little hands.
Age 7-8(Ballet and Tap Combo) Black leotard, flesh colored footed or convertible tights, pink leather ballet shoes, black tap shoes. No ballet skirts
Age 9 and up (Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, and Tap Combos) Black leotard, flesh colored convertible tights, pink leather ballet shoes, black tap shoes, black jazz shoes (black jazz pants for tap and jazz are optional). No ballet skirts

Dance bag with all items (and shoes) inside labeled Leotard & Tights (see Dress Code below) Dance shoes (for Ballet, Tap and/or Jazz) Cover ups and street shoes for traveling to & from class (ex. Sweater or T shirt, tennis shoes or flats) Hair pulled up and away from face No hair accessories that will fall in dancer's face Water bottle
Please arrive to class on time or a little early. Class will start promptly.
Remember, attendance with consistency is very important! We are introducing new technique and terminology each week.
When you arrive: Don’t forget to use the bathroom before class! Bring all shoes to the dance floor Smile and have fun Learning
Dance Shoe Swap: Before you buy new dance shoes, you are welcomed to check the back cubbies for potential $avings. There may be a gently used pair of shoes that will fit your dancer's feet. As your student's feet grow, feel free to leave a pair and take a pair.
Label all shoes with the dancer's name.
Ballet shoes' soles are made identical. So, label each Ballet shoe with "R" or "L" to establish which shoe will go on the Right or Left foot each time.
Tights should not be too big or small. Tights should fit snugly without gaps or restraint.
Please either wear noneor discrete underwearthat do not show through the dance tights.
Do not wear undershirts of any kind under the leotard. Leotards should fit to the skin. If desired, during cold weather, wear foundation undergarments designed for dance such as a spaghetti strap baseline unitard to wearunderneath the dance leotard.
Socksshould not be worn underneath tights
Dance shoe strings should be tied, and tucked into the shoe
Use cover-ups such as cotton tights and a t-shirt for quick changes before and after class
Please adhere to the dress code for every class. When dancers are dressed the same, it helps minimize visual distractions and assists visual memory. If you have questions about the dress code, please let us know
